Honeymoon Bay Group Campground is one of two group campgrounds in Cultus Lake Provincial Park. There are two sites that both support anywhere from 15 to 50 people each, and because this is a bit of a rarity in the area, they fill up quickly. Honeymoon Bay Group Campground is typically open from March 24 through October 10.

Because of the proximity of Cultus Lake to Vancouver, many choose to host overnight events at Honeymoon Bay. The campground provides almost immediate access to the lake, and there are a number of boat ramps and swimming areas nearby. Waterskiing is one of the lake’s more popular activities, and it’s unusual to get a glimpse of the lake when it’s not peppered with stand-up paddle boarders and canoes. If you neglected to bring watercraft, the adjacent town has plenty of places to rent for reasonable day prices.

If you find yourself camping with people who are less than thrilled to spend all day in the woods, the nearby town of Cultus Lake can keep people entertained for hours if they are apt to be enticed by miniature gold, restaurants, stables, boutique shopping, bumper boats, two golf courses, and a popular waterpark.
