Mount Seymour's CBC Trail was an iconic North Shore freeride mountain bike trail in the 1990s that has been recently updated, and many of its famous old skinnies and features have been eliminated. Now the trail runs well at the top with twisting, rolling woodwork and imbedded stones to reinforce the trail. Berms make for a bumpy, slippery ride before the trail proceeds into some steep technical turns, rolls, and drops. Most of the features have roll around options.

The middle section is the gem. The trail stays elevated from the forest floor for most of this section, passing through marsh and back into forests and around a few old giant cedars. The trail then leads to another set of elevated features and into the long Millennium Log ride over the creek and eventually back to the ground. The bottom section of the trail goes back to being technical with some more committing steeps, rock rolls, and tight turns.

The trail ends abruptly at a T intersection with Pinch Flat Alley. Turn left from here to ride down. Further down Pinch Flat Alley is another trailhead to continue down the mountain, or you can ride out to the road and around to catch another set of trailheads.

Unfortunately there is no trail that leads to the top of CBC, so you must shuttle or pedal up the road. There is a large parking lot for parking and a shuttle drop off further up the road on the left. Being almost at the top of the mountain, CBC is a great trail to catch before leading into many other trail options that descend down almost 300 vertical meters through Mount Seymour's forest.
