Bonny Doon is a clothing-optional beach located between Davenport and Santa Cruz California. This beautiful beach sits in a natural cove towered by seaside cliffs with many unique rock formations along the shoreline. Liddell Creek flows onto this beach as it makes it's way to the ocean. This creek can be seen flowing out of the cliff face to make a little pond of vegetation. This wide open beach is divided by the rock formations where people who choose to sunbathe nude can have privacy from the visitors who do not.

Getting here is a 10-minute drive out of Santa Cruz, and parking is off of Highway 1 across from Bonny Doon Road. A short walk from the parking lot across the railroad track and you're there. From the tracks, head left for an easy walk down, or take a right where some easy climbing is involved. This is a great location to catch a classic California sunset!
