The quickest route to the Top Of The World at Delaveaga Park is by taking the La Corona Trail. A 27 hole Disc Golf course and some great views await your arrival at the top. This is a short 1-mile dog-friendly hike that gradually ascends to the top. Open to bike riding, the trails through DeLaveaga Park get a lot of visitors, so it is a good idea to keep an ear out for oncoming traffic.

The trailhead is located by the restrooms near the main lower parking lot. Here you will also find the Branceforte Creek Trailhead. Live oak, pine and redwood trees along with fern and shrubbery line the trail, and there are no visible signs of poison oak. The path can be slick and muddy when wet, but it is easy to traverse at any other time. Three-quarters of the way to the top you will find the connection to the Branceforte Creek Trail, which will take you back to the start of La Corona Trail.

I'm in this park nearly every day. There is plenty of poison oak, but the path is well used so that you can easily avoid it if you stay on the trails. Several trails connect so that you can hike/bike/jog several miles of mostly single-track + about a mile long fire road.
