Raft Island is a beautiful and diverse day trip from Kopachuck State Park, and it is easily combined with a trip to Cutts Island along the way. A short walk is necessary from the parking lot to the beach. Raft Island, located in Carr Inlet, is privately owned, but it offers kayakers a unique opportunity to sightsee while circumnavigating one of the many islands dotting the inlets of the South Puget Sound area.
