The golf course at DeLaveaga Park can be accessed from the lower parking lot via the Enchanted Trail. Essentially a unmaintained access road, this trail cuts directly to the top of the park where the course can be found. La Corona, Branceforte Creek, Redwood Lower Loop and Upper DeLaveaga Loop all tie into this trail, so this is a good spot to start if you plan on exploring the rest of the park. Enchanted Trail turns into Sand Pit Trail at the lower trail junction. Following Sand Pit takes you to an off-leash dog area within the park.

Joggers, hikers, dog walkers and bike riders enjoy these trails, so expect some congestion on your hike through DeLaveaga. The trail is mostly flat with minimal elevation change. Enchanted Trail is mostly shaded, so this makes a good spring and summer hike.
