Crescent Beach is just on the outskirts of East Sound on Orcas Island. It is walking distance from town, and it is a great choice for a close bird watching or kayaking destination (kayaks available for rent on site). The shoreline is often crowded with an array of birds. Also, the lush shoreline and intertidal zone provides interesting tide pools where you can find starfish, anemones, and other surprises between the rocks.

For a combined adventure, the beach is adjacent to the Crescent Beach Preserve with access to the Woodland Trial.
