When traveling along Highway 101 on the Northern Oregon Coast, there is no shortage of incredible locations providing dramatic views of the rugged shoreline.  Silver Point is certainly one of the roadside viewpoints that stands out.  Views to the south include Hug Point, Humbug Point, and Cape Falcon (located within Oswald West State Park).  To the north lies popular and iconic Cannon Beach, with Haystack Rock dominating the beach's edge.

As for the headland itself, Jockey Cap Rock and Silver Point Rock are ideal nesting areas for hundreds of seabirds.  Bring your binoculars to catch the best glimpses of the western gulls, cormorants and common murres that call Silver Point home.
