Cedar Point is popular with boat-in campers at Rockport State Park. You can also get here without a boat, as there is a small parking lot with footpaths connecting sites, but they are arranged to be conveniently accessed from the water. Large boats can launch from the marina and anchor at the Cedar Point beach. Personal watercraft can put in anywhere and paddle here. A bit further north from Cedar Point, there are three sites accessible only by boat that are set in a sheltered cove with a small community dock.

Sites at Cedar Point are spread out and offer plenty of privacy in between. Picnic tables do not have shelters over them, but most are naturally shaded among the junipers. There are no grills, but fire rings have grates. Pit toilets and water faucets are available.

Note: Cedar Point Campground is open from May 1 through October 31.
