Encircling the perimeter of Seattle's Green Lake is one of the city's most frequented exercise tracks. Unlike a gym or an official track, the entire 2.8-mile length of the Green Lake Inner Loop Trail is blessed with vistas overlooking the placid, iconic lake and lush foliage along the shoreline. Here you'll find joggers, bicyclists, and casual strollers out in the droves after work and on the weekends.

The trail itself is a wide, paved pathway with two clearly marked lanes: the inside lane is for two-way pedestrian traffic, and the outside lane is for one-way, clockwise bicycle and roller blade traffic. Green Lake Park also features a non-paved 4-foot wide Outer Loop Trail adjacent to the road that is 3.2 miles long.
