Born on the Olympic peninsula, my first home was park housing at the Hoh rain forest. My father was employed by Olympic national park. My family Moved from the Hoh to Kalaloch (another part of ONP) when I was still a baby. When I was 4 we moved to the "big" city of Port Angles where my Dad was full time maintenance for Hurricane ridge, Heart of the Hills and Deer park. My Father is currently the only full time maintenance worker taking care of Hurricane ridge, Heart of the hills and Deer park. Being raised in the park I grew up to become an avid hiker and lover of all things involving outdoors and wilderness. I now share my love of the outdoors with my children and future husband. I am currently looking to expand my horizons beyond my incredible backyard that is the Olympic Peninsula and am researching hikes for my bucket list in other areas of the country.
