Riverview Campground is a small 13-site campground on the banks of the Gila River in the Gila Box Riparian Area. Sonoran Desert scrub surrounds gravel campsites, which feature grills, picnic tables, fire rings, and small ramadas. One vault toilet is shared by all 13 sites, and a few scattered spigots provide water for drinking and dishes.

The campground is on a bench but close enough to the river that you can easily walk from your campsite to a swimming hole. A nice beach can be found just about 1,000 feet down the road from the campground. Please bring your own firewood (collecting is prohibited) and pack out your trash.
