Of all the beautiful and amazing things to do and see in Squamish, this mountain biking loop is right up there with the best of them. These are professional and rider-built trails that snake through thick West Coast forest and present some stunning views and killer riding.

The Legacy Trail leaves from the parking area and gently rolls across the slope with a minimal rise at first. The trail then starts to climb with a series of switchbacks. The trail condition is generally smooth, but some switchbacks are steep and tight. Occasionally the trail turns back toward a clearing where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. Topping out links you to Upper Half Nelson, a great way to lift your spirits after the climb. Fun and flowing downhill bumps and berms lead you to the entrance of Recycle. This trail crosses the slope again and really uses the terrain well to get the most out of the hill without too much climbing.

Pseudo Tsuga is more gravity-fueled fun with beautifully shaped berms and rollers that are optimally separated to keep a fast and flowing ride going from top to bottom. Along the way is a viewpoint with a bench that is worth a stop for a photo.

All told, this loop will keep a grin on your face from start to finish, and it is definitely one of the best in the Diamond Head area.
