The Brainchild of Todd "Digger" Fiander, Ladies Only was originally build in 1992 and has since become mountain biking classic on Vancouver's North Shore, so much so that a complete rebuild was needed after so much use. In 2010 reinforced burms, new features, and tons of attention to detail returned Ladies Only from a decaying and worn out trail to one of the top trails in the world.

With some new wood and some fresh dirt, the trail seems to run with a lot more flow, keeping up with the newer trail trends while not diverting away from the old-school gnarly tech lines. Ladies is full of roller coaster type woodwork, most of which is not too difficult. Many features do not have a ride around option, however, and there are some features that are very difficult and could ruin your day if executed incorrectly. In the middle section Digger has cleared out and created small ponds that are spanned by a mandatory log ride to teeter totter. The end section of this trail is very, very steep, highly technical, and not ridden very much, making it difficult to follow at times. Just point down and hold on.

Lower Ladies continues on the other side of the Baden Powell Trail where Ladies Only ends. Also a very difficult trail, Lower Ladies has a series of tight and technical sections without ride around options and no room for error. The end is not as steep, and the trail has some more great roller coaster action to get you pumped and smiling after using up all of your adrenalin. A short pedal up the hill to the parking lot completes the loop.

Note that this trail is NOT FOR BEGINNERS and should only be ridden by riders with an advanced skill level and experience mountain biking on the North Shore Mountains.
