Just to the northeast of Kitsilano Beach, and a bit closer to Downtown Vancouver sits Hadden Park. It's small and primarily used by those bringing their pooches to the off-leash dog area, but it's got a great view of the city and English Bay, and it is definitely worth a stop. Bike and pedestrian paths connect it to Kits and to Vanier Park, but it's got a vibe all its own. The small bay is less of an open expanse of sand, and more of a rocky shoreline. There are tide pools to explore and enough sand for kids and dogs to run around. A small peninsula at the northern tip of the park boasts 270-degree views. Its many amenities, as well as proximity to the city make this a popular park for people of all ages.

Like most City of Vancouver parks, Hadden Park is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
