Laguna Creek Beach is a remote and sandy beach backed by coastal bluffs and interesting rock formations, located three and a half miles south of Davenport, California. Part of the 6-mile stretch of beaches and coastal land known as the Coast Dairies State Park, Laguna Creek Beach is a great beach to relax and kill a few hours while listening to the crashing surf.  Settle in by the creek, birdwatch near the wetlands, or partake in the (clothing-optional) sunbathing.

To get there, follow the small trail that snakes through vegetation on the west side of the highway across from the small dirt parking lot located where Laguna Road runs into Highway. Continue past railroad tracks to a wider rocky trail that leads to the beach. On sunny days, walk along the looped trail to reach the nicest section of the beach. Large and open, the southern section is best enjoyed when the weather is nice. If the day is windy or a bit cool, stay put at the northern part of the beach, which offers more protection against the elements.

This beach is known for nudists, so don't be surprised to see some birthday suits out and about when you visit. Be sure to check out the sea life happening in tide pools and the bizarre rock formations along the bluffs. Otherwise, just plan on a relaxing on a day on of central California's more secluded beaches.
