Grace Bay is known as the most popular destination in the Turks and Caicos Islands. This beach destination has been ranked as the best beach destination in the world by TripAdvisor and “Best Beach” by Condé Nast magazine. These rankings certainly are not bestowed on a beach that doesn’t stand out, and Grace Bay certainly stands out in many ways. For one, the soft white sandy beach stretches for a full 12 miles along the north shore of the island. The contrast of the white sand against turquoise blue water and puffy white clouds makes for a memorable view, and the view only gets better at sunset when the entire sky and ocean lights up with a golden hue.

In addition to the sand and water, Grace Bay offers kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, day-cruises, sailing, beach volleyball and many more physical activities. When it comes to relaxing, there is ample space to throw down a blanket along the vast stretch of waterfront. Many oceanfront bars and restaurants also line the beach, making for convenient lunch, happy hour and dinner locations. Grace Bay is also very tourist friendly, as the full stretch is public beach. Only further back from the water and closer to the resorts are any areas of the beach private. This makes the beach ideal for a morning jog or long stroll at any time of day or night.
