Point Reyes Hostel is an affordable lodging choice situated right in the heart of Point Reyes National Seashore. Adult rates range from $29 for dorm-room-style accommodations to $130 for private rooms of up to five people. The hostel has no Wi-Fi or cell service, but it does provide a payphone and a pay-to-use internet station.

The hostel features charming public spaces with comfortable seating both indoors and outdoors. With its extremely limited connectivity, it can be a perfect place to unplug and engage your immediate surroundings. The hostel is near excellent hiking surrounding Limantour Road, with the Laguna Trail Trailhead just a few hundred yards away and the excellent Limantour Estero hike a short drive away. Guests are also only 2 miles from a secluded beach with the waves of the Pacific Ocean breaking on the shore.

Public transportation does not serve the hostel, but sufficient parking is available for guests. Food is not served, but a shared kitchen is available. Alcohol is now allowed. Laundry services are not available, and the maximum stay is 14 days.

Point Reyes Hostel could make for a wonderful getaway, offering more creature comforts than camping and more adventure than a hotel. With its beautiful setting and proximity to San Francisco, it is a popular place, so book early.
