Martha's Vineyard Family Campground

Martha’s Vineyard Family Campground is the only campground on Martha’s Vineyard. With its affordability and many amenities, Martha’s Vineyard Family Campground campground is a great place to stay when spending a few nights on the island.  

With 160 RV sites, 20 tent-only sites, and about 15 cabins to choose from, this campground can accommodate many guests. Martha’s Vineyard Family Campground is great for families and children. It has a playground, a large playing field, and a basketball hoop. There is a large communal fire pit beside all of children areas, and there are chairs and benches for the adults to sit and relax. There are also fully functional bathrooms and coin-operated showers available. The campground is also located conveniently near the ferries, various restaurants, and shops.  

Even though there are many reasons to stay at this campground, there are a few downsides to be aware of. Because Martha’s Vineyard Family Campground can accommodate many guests, the sites are all positioned quite close together, limiting the amount of privacy you may get. Also, although there are fully functioning bathrooms, there is only one station, and it is by the main office.  While the campground is small enough to keep walking distances to a minimum, campers will have to make the commute to the single bathroom facility.

Martha’s Vineyard Family Campground may be bustling and lack some privacy, but anyone looking to stay in Martha's Vinyard and save a little money while enjoying a some time outside should consider this a great option.
