Bond Falls Scenic Site is a day-use state park that is 60 acres is size and is located 10 miles north of Watermeet, Michigan. Bond Falls is one of the most scenic waterfalls in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Bond Falls is on the middle branch of the Ontonagon River. The river cascades over a thick belt of fractured volcanic rock to form the waterfall. The total drop of Bond Falls is about 50 feet. Views from below the waterfall are fully accessible via a boardwalk that has six viewing locations and three viewing platforms. Taking the trail along the west side of the falls is highly recommended. This trail provides outstanding views of beautiful cascades above the main falls.

This park is open year round and does have a fee. The park has vault toilets and some picnic tables. Bond Falls is a must see for anyone traveling in this area of the Upper Peninsula.
