Davis Creek Campground is situated in a pine forest right on the edge of the towering Sierra Nevada mountain range with views of Washoe Valley from below Slide Mountain.

There are 62 first-come, first-served campsites on two paved campground loops. Nineteen campsites are pull-through sites designed to accommodate RVs and camper trailers, and the remaining sites are designed for easy access and car or tent camping. Each campsite has a fire ring and a picnic table with benches and bear boxes for food storage. Each campground loop has two flush toilet locations. Shower facilities are located in the first campground loop and are free for registered campers.

The campground is ideal for an easy escape from Reno or for beginning campers testing the waters for some experience with new gear. There is also a large group campsite perfect for events, scout troops or special occasions.
