Roosa Gap State Forest only has one trail passing through it. The trail, Shawangunk Ridge Trail, follows a ridge until it reaches the border with Shawangunk Ridge State Forest. There is only one access point to the trail from the south. Other than that, you can enter Roosa Gap thru-hiking north from Wurtsboro State Forest, which borders Roosa Gap in the south. The Roosa Gap section does not have many views, but it does give access to a fire tower that is accessable to the public.
