The campground offers clean restrooms, drinking water, a camp host and well maintained campsites.

The Deep Creek Loop is located near the campground. It's a gorgeous, easy day hike that includes three Smoky Mountain waterfalls. Just outside of the park entrance and a few miles from the campground, you'll find many places to explore. From the town of Bryson City you can catch a ride on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad through the breathtaking mountains, visit a traditional ice cream parlor called Soda Pops that is filled with Coke memorabilia and delicious desserts. Finished up a day of hiking? Take a tour of the Nantahala Brewing company, try one of their latest brews, or pick up souvenirs in the Loose Moose.
