You can find Cape Cove Beach by following a short-and-steep trail tucked into the hillside near Cape Perpetua along Highway 101. This destination offers dramatic, volcanic-rock shoreline and fine-grain sand. As a relatively small beach with a rocky shore, this is less of a family-activity destination and more of a spot to provide a viewpoint and short hike. Cape Cove Beach is a good stop to combine with Cape Perpetua Visitor's Center, Thor's Well + Cook's Chasm and Neptune State Park, among other nearby destinations.
