Alder Springs Campground is located in the Willamette National Forest near hiking trails for Linton Lake, Proxy Falls, and the Three Sisters Wilderness. This small, free, first-come, first-served campground is a nice spot to use as a home base for day adventures in the area.

Campsites include picnic tables and fire rings. Maximum trailer length is 20 feet. There is a vault toilet near the day use picnic area.

Highway 242, the historic McKenzie Pass Highway, is closed during the winter. The campground remains open from June through September depending on snow levels. Check with the McKenzie River Ranger District for current status.
