Packard Creek is a popular campground located just outside of Oakridge and along the Hills Creek Reservoir. It's a great place for people looking for access to water for boating, fishing, and swimming. The campground is spread out along the edge of the lake and nestled in tall trees that offer plenty of shade. There are numerous hiking, biking, and equestrian trails nearby for those wishing to explore the beautiful Willamette National Forest.
Hills Creek Reservoir is accessible from some of the campsites as well as Packard Creek Day Use Area, located within the campground. Amenities in the day use area include a boat ramp, picnic tables, a designated swimming area, and fishing spots.
Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring. Some sites are located along the lake's edge and have individual boat docks. Most sites are pull through parking spots along the road with a table off in the trees. The very large group site includes a picnic shelter and space for multiple tents (up to 80 people). Campsites with two picnic tables are considered "multiple campsites" and are twice the regular fee. Firewood is available for purchase from the camp host. Potable water is available throughout the campground.
Note: Some of the campsites can be reserved and some are first-come, first-served only.
