High on the upper reaches of the Clackamas River at its confluence with the Collawash River lies a little campground where outdoor enthusiasts can post up, set up their campsite, and escape from the hustle of daily life.

With only seven sites, three of them being walk-in, Riverford Campground is sure to be a more relaxed and quiet camping option than other designated campgrounds along the Clackamas.

Additionally, check across the north side of Collawash River Road for a large group site along the river's bank that features two picnic tables and plenty of space for tents.  This area isn't technically a part of the campground.  To claim this gem of a campsite (or any of the other sites), be sure to arrive early as Riverford Campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
