Sherwood Campground is a great picnic spot if you are exploring the East Fork of the Hood River or Tamanawas Falls.  It shouldn't be your first choice for an overnight, stay, however; it is very close to the highway, there is no running water and the vault toilets are poorly maintained.  Instead, check for vacancy at Nottingham Campground only two miles south on Highway 35.

Toilets aren't all that bad. Camp by the river, you won't hear the road noise.
