The Rainbow Falls Trail is a short, easy hike to an undeveloped viewpoint. Through the trees you get a glimpse of the falls with the Three Sisters in the distance. The hike is better for those looking for a nice walk in the Three Sisters Wilderness rather than prime waterfall viewing. Rainbow Falls can be a bit challenging to see, but the views of the Separation Creek Canyon are impressive. Keep an eye out for wildflowers and wildlife.

There is limited parking at the trailhead. A self-serve wilderness station is about a quarter of a mile down the trail. There are no other amenities.
