Located on the east end of Bend's beloved Drake Park adjacent to the Mirror Pond Parking Area off of Franklin Avenue, this modest hill turns into the city's most centrally located sledding spot once the snow has fallen for the winter. Here locals and visitors alike bring their kids and family, pack up their sleds, and bundle up in the warmest winter wear to enjoy riding down the easy, downtown-located slope.

Once the kids have gotten their fix and are ready to take it up a notch, consider venturing up Century Drive to hit up the considerably larger Wanoga Sno-Park, Dutchman Flat Sno-Park, or the far more challenging lower end of Mount Bachelor's Cinder Cone. Alternatively, warm up afterward with a hot chocolate or coffee at the adjacent and charming Crows Feet Commons.

Note: Both sledding and parking are free.
