On the Natchez Trace Parkway, beauty is around every corner. From the beautiful vistas to the historical sites, you will find something for everyone. Jackson Falls is just one of the hidden treasures that awaits you in this area of the country.

This waterfall is easy to get to, and if you are feeling adventurous there is a short hike to Baker's Bluff close by. When you arrive at the parking lot, you will find restrooms and picnic areas with beautiful views of the farmland below. The trees change color in this area of the country during the fall and spring, which brings a unique perspective of the landscape.

When you are in the parking lot, go to the right and look for a sign pointing to the falls. After a 900-foot descent on the bluff via stairs and a few small bridges, you will be able to see the waterfall directly below you. Walk down in front of it and soak in the beauty and the sound that surrounds you. This place is very peaceful. Depending on the time of year you are here, think about how the seasons change the landscape of this area. In a different season, the experience of this amazing place is completely new.
