The “O” in the MOAB Brand Trails, Circle O is a great, easyily accessible introduction to slickrock riding. After a short, well marked set of connector trails, you’ll arrive at Circle O itself. The trail runs across the Navajo sandstone slickrock and is marked by paint on the sandstone itself. Overall, the trail is flat, but it has lots of short, mellow, climbs and descents. It may be one of the least technically challenging slickrock trails in the area, which makes it a perfect family or beginner ride.

Like most trails in the area, Circle O offers stunning views at nearly every point. The red cliffs in the distance, blue sky, and purple La Sal Mountains all stand in stark contrast to the nearly white sandstone you’re riding on. The mellow nature of the trail makes it all the easier to enjoy the view.

Eventually you’ll connect back into Bar M, which you can then take to join into other trails such as Rockin' A, or you can take the doubletrack cutoff directly back to the parking area.
