Though remote, Hobuck Beach is known among surfers for its beach break and among travelers for the adjacent Hobuck Beach Resort and Campground. This wide, sandy beach is a great spot to relax after some hiking on nearby Shi Shi Beach or up on Cape Flattery. The resort rents a variety of watercraft depending on your interests: surfboards and some wetsuits are available, as are kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. If you have the time and energy, a paddle from the beach up the mouth of the Waatch River is a fantastic tour, or you can head south down toward the Sooes River and Anderson Point and it's fantastic beach. This is a great beach for staging a day of adventure or recovering from a previous itinerary.
