Situated in the Tricities area and maintained by Friends of Badger Mountain, the Badger Mountain Trail, also known as Skyline Loop, is a family-friendly, dog-friendly day hike offering amazing 360-degree views of the Central Washington area from the top of the mountain. At just a couple of hours from the Seattle Metro area, this is a good getaway to the eastern side of Washington. It is an easy trail that is uphill to the top and then down the back side of the mountain.

With multiple trails, this is a good spot for hiking, biking, and even horse riding. The hills that form this chain of multiple trails are covered with wildflowers, sagebrush and bunchgrass. The area can be a good place for bird watching. The trail is very popular with hikers and runners because it is conveniently located near the heart of the city. There is ample parking available at the start of the trailhead.
