The Cama Beach State Park Cabins preserve a long tradition of providing a welcome retreat for simple living. Thanks to the Risk Sisters, who inherited the land in 1990 and felt it was their duty pass it on to caring hands, land that may have been developed for expensive condos is now a pristine park that is broadly accessible. The cabins have been upgraded to include today’s “bare necessities,” and the rustic cedar interiors and the sounds of nearby waves keep these cabins feeling rustic and relaxing.

The resort features 24 standard cabins that are divided into a waterfront row and second-row. Each has a living room, a kitchen area, and a bedroom. The waterfront cabins offer two double beds and can accommodate up to four guests. The second-row cabins have one double bed and two sets of twin-sized bunk beds that can accommodate a total of six guests. All standard cabins include electric heating and lighting, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a sink. The well-maintained restroom and shower facilities are just behind the second row.

The seven deluxe cabins are situated above the south end of the beach and offer great views out to the water. Each offers the same amenities as the standard cabins with the addition of a bathroom that includes a shower, toilet and sink. The deluxe cabins have one double bed and two twin beds, and each can accommodate up to five guests.

Rental Notice:

-Bed linens and kitchen supplies are not provided in the cabins. Guests must bring along their own bedding, pillows, cookware, dishes and utensils.
-Pets are only allowed in designated cabins (12, 13, 23, 24).
-Smoking is not permitted in cabins
-Washington State Parks pass discounts do not apply to cabins.

Note:  For preservation purposes, visitors must leave their vehicle at one of four upper parking lots and access the cabin and beach area by shuttle or on foot. The shuttle is on call from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday through Thursday, and 9:00 a.m. through 7:30 p.m. on Fridays.
