Adventure Description

Adventure Description

Team

Located in the middle of South Beach, Washington, Grayland Beach State Park contains over a mile of accessible Pacific Ocean frontage, an extremely broad and flat sandy beach which stretches a continuous 18 miles, and a well-maintained, full-service campground that's open year-round.

The beach at Grayland Beach State Park is so broad that at low tide it can be nearly a half-mile wide, making it an ideal location for beach combing, kite flying, sand castle building and clam digging. The beach can be accessed by foot from any of the campsites, but general day use access is located at the end of Cranberry Beach Road.

Note: Vehicles are permitted on the beach, and be sure to check with the Washington Department of Fish + Wildlife for shellfish digging regulations.
