Technically called Ocean City State Park, this beach access point and day use area shouldn't be confused with much larger Ocean City State Park 2.5 miles further south.

The main beach access for the small town of Ocean City, this park provides direct vehicular access onto the 26-mile, nearly continuous stretch of broad and flat beach on the section of Washington's coast known as North Beach. In total, this stretch of continuous sand is actually longer than the famous Long Beach to the south, but it is broken up by several small river and creek estuaries, including Joe Creek next to Pacific Beach State Park, and the Copalis River at Griffiths-Priday State Park.

Note: Famous for its "beach-driving," vehicles are permitted directly on the beach along the entire stretch of North Beach, as are fires that are a minimum of 100 feet from the grassy dunes.
