Surrounded by Cascade foothills in the far northern reaches of Washington State, Silver Lake Park is an outdoor-lover's paradise. From boating and fishing to trails and campsites, there are plenty of adventures to be had at this county park.

When you're ready to get out on the water, look no further than the park's day lodge office. Here, you can rent rowboats, canoes, and pedal boats by the hour or day. Alternately, bring your own boat and launch from the public dock. Be aware that motors with more than 10 horsepower are prohibited. Silver Lake is stocked with rainbow trout in the spring and cutthroat in the fall. If fishing, you must obtain a license from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife before setting out.

Much of Silver Lake Park is set aside as a campground. There are multiple camping options at the park, including individual sites, doubles, cabins, a group camp, and a horse camp. For more information, see Silver Lake Park Campground.

Note that some services, including boat and cabin rentals, may only be available during peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day) and on weekends during the off season. Contact the park at 360.733.2900 for details.
