If you are looking for a great sledding spot with terrain for all levels of experience, the hill at mile marker 75 off of Highway 2 is a great option. Once you park, a quarter-mile hike accesses a number of slopes that are great for sledding. Whether you are in it with the kids for a slight downhill or you are more of an adrenaline junkie and want to take it to the top of this backcountry sledding hill, there are plenty of options for everyone.

The small parking spot for this unnamed sledding hill is on the south side of Highway 2 just east of mile marker 75. The only safe way to access this parking is by driving west on the highway and pulling off in the small space that only has room for three cars. Once you are there, the route to the slopes is obvious, and as soon as you turn the corner and lose the highway sounds, you'll see the biggest hill off in the distance. On the way you'll notice the smaller hills and beginner spots that are better for children.

Looks like a good spot but the parking lot isn't plowed...so there is a wall of snow from the road plow on Hwy 2 and no place to stop let alone park. Perhaps you could park in another pull-out and brave your way up the shoulder (dangerous) or snow-shoe in...but it will make for a longer hike. Didn't manage to find a spot for sledding yesterday. :(
