On Saturday, August 26, Outdoor Project hosted our inaugural block party in Bend, Oregon, with Deschutes Brewery. The weather was warm and the air filled with smoke, but the community still came out to get inspired for new outdoor adventures. With over 500 people in attendance, many beautiful connections were formed within the community and the outdoor industry in Bend.

Our vendors brought the party! SKOUT Backcountry was giving out samples of their organic energy bars, GearFix was showing off their upcycled gear, and BLACKRAPIDS hosted a scavenger hunt throughout the day. We thrive on community building and feel inspired when connection is made that drives adventure, and Bend was a day that was filled with community building and adventure dreaming. Thank you so much to our sponsors: BLACKRAPID, Gear Fix, Mountain House, Sierra Designs, Skout Backcountry, Deviation Ski & Snowboard Works, Cairn, The Nature Conservancy, Adventures Without Limits, Roam Oatmeal, Oregon Outdoor Alliance and PacBack.

Huge shout out to our bands who kept the dance party moving. We kicked off the party with Cedar Teeth and closed out the day with the one-and-only Crow and the Canyon.

THE BEST PART OF THE DAY: AS A COMMUNITY WE RAISED OVER $1,000 FOR OREGON NATURAL DESERT ASSOCIATION!

Proceeds of sales of Outdoor Project's customized Stanely pint glasses went back to Oregon Natural Desert Association, and 10% of sales from Deschutes Brewery was donated back to Oregon Natural Desert Association. Thank you everyone for the support toward Oregon Natural Desert Association: With your help, they can continue to protect and care for Oregon's deserts!

Bend, thank you for the support and coming out for a beautiful day!

We have two block parties left this summer, you can find us in Salt Lake City on September 16 and San Francisco on September 23.
