Woowoo! We did a great hike on the Clackamas River to Pup Creek Falls this weekend. Romance is best served in the woods.
Washington State's highest elevation aka holy grail of singletrack trails, 22 mile Angel's Staircase loop. Epic mountain biking efforts rewarded in epic shades when autumn's alpine larches accentuate these Cascade Mountain high alpine ridges.
We went hiking in the Eagle Cap Wilderness. It felt we could touch the sky the stars where so huge. We where able to camp at One of the lakes. On our way back before we reached the trailhead we detoured off climb 1 mile to see the tower house that is still active. Beautiful place to backpack in the late summer or fall.
