It's camping season again in the Pacific Northwest. This week's featured Instagram photos from @oregonwild and @seanfair503 got us excited about where we want to go camping this summer.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act, Oregon Wild has created the 50 Hikes Challenge to get people outside exploring Oregon's many designated wilderness areas. We've joined the call and invite you to also. This photo by @oregonwild is from camping in Oregon's Badland Wilderness. Flatiron Rock Trail is one way to explore this wilderness area.

The photo from @seanfair503 is on the rim of Crater Lake, Oregon's only National Park. Check out his Instagram feed, along with his travel companion for the trip, @mr0tt, for some incredible photos from their overnight trip to the lake.

The most popular photo from Outdoor Project was from the Coldwater Lake Hiking Trail on the northern side of Mount St. Helens National Monument, by Tyson Gillard. This hike takes you around the lake or up the ridge for spectacular views into the volcano.
