Outdoor Project is excited to announce that our Summer Block Party Festival series will be hitting Salt Lake City for its second annual event on Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will be hosted at Uinta Brewing, 1722 South Fremont Drive. This year's block party festival will benefit Save Our Canyons, which is dedicated to protecting the wildness and beauty of the Wasatch Mountains, canyons, and foothills. Funds will be raised to support these heroes through the sale of customized insulated Stanley pints, a donation made by Uinta Brewing, and vendor support.
Outdoor Project’s Block Party will fill your day with outdoor adventure inspiration, gear demos, giveaways, live music from Lounge on Fire and Taarka, games, food trucks including Shirokuma Snow Cream, and beer. This event is for those age 21 and over, is open to furry friends, and is FREE!
Follow along on Facebook for more information on music and vendors.
We look forward to celebrating adventure and community with our 2018 sponsors:

Better Takes Action
Along with supporting local nonprofits and organizations, KEEN will be on-site to share their Better Takes Action campaign and empower fans through KEEN's mobile action center. KEEN's on-site activation promotes voter registration, educates participants about causes related to the environment and our public lands, and encourages people to take action by calling their local elected officials to express their opinions.
We look forward to celebrating adventure and community with all of you this summer!
If you are interested in getting involved, please reach out to Events and Community Manager, Broche, at [email protected].
In times like these, when our air, water, climate, and public lands are under constant attack, we’re continuing our mission of taking action with renewed gusto—with a new campaign to activate KEEN employees and our fans.
Because … Better Takes Action.
“From the inception of this campaign, we set out with a simple goal: to inspire a call to action for our fans, our community, and our employees to engage their civic voice to protect open spaces and drive positive outcomes,” says Tyler LaMotte, Chief Marketing Officer at KEEN. “As a brand dedicated to making leading products for our fans to experience life outside, the aim is that together we can take action today for a better tomorrow.”
Whether it’s helping create a better world for future generations or enjoying better adventures today with our families, the only way to make anything better is to do something about it.
