Smith Rock State Park. The Cascade Lakes. Newberry Volcanic National Monument. The Three Sisters Wilderness. These are just a few of the amazing destinations for outdoor recreation in Central Oregon that shouldn't be missed. Forging a partnership with Visit Central Oregon, the official tourism board for the region, means building more in-depth resources for visitors to get out and enjoy all of Central Oregon's majesty. Visit Central Oregon will feature rich media and comprehensive activity guides provided by Outdoor Project for specific content on their website. Central Oregon encompasses Bend, Sisters, Redmond, La Pine, Prineville, Madras and the resort community of Sunriver. This area is replete with hiking and biking trails, rivers and lakes for paddle sports, and skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months. With help from incredible Contributors, Outdoor Project has invested significant effort into covering the area, developing over 100 field guides and maps to trails, lakes, mountains, rivers, and campgrounds.

Outdoor Project is all about planning outdoor adventures. With Visit Central Oregon's excellent recommendations, you can pair your adventure with the region's amazing craft breweries, world-class restaurants, and welcoming accommodations for every lifestyle and budget. The adventure content on Outdoor Project will be complemented with information provided by trusted, local community members, whether it be guides and outfitters, restaurants, or gear shops. The information will make your trip planning experience in the region as easy as possible, and it will be made available to all Outdoor Project users. We hope you get to plan a trip to the area in the near future so you can see Central Oregon in a whole new way.
