Buffalo Park is a nature park located in Flagstaff, AZ and is a favorite amongst locals. This family friendly park is located on a beautiful mesa with scenic views of the San Francisco Peaks (with spectacular views of Mount Humphreys), the Dry Lake Hills, and Mount Elden.

Buffalo park features a 2.2 mile loop trail that is flat and easily accessible for all levels. This trail is ADA compliable and is open to hikers, runners, bikers, wheelchairs, and strollers. Dogs on leashes are also common visitors to this park and trail.

Buffalo Park is open year round and provides city dwellers a place to go to seek peace, nature, and since Flagstaff is a dark sky city, Buffalo Park has some of the best evening star gazing opportunities.

Buffalo Park provides access to the Flagstaff Urban Trail System (FUTS), Coconino National Forest and the Arizona Trail. The variety of trail access from Buffalo Park provides opportunities for adventurers to create an extended route and take their journey beyond the park for a longer hike or ride. And, for anyone looking to create a more varied workout, there are multiple exercise stations featured throughout the park to assist with weight training and muscle building.
