La Posta Quemada Ranch is a ranch facility and local attraction located in Vail, AZ. This family friendly destination features museums, hiking trails, horseback riding, butterfly garden, petting zoo, gift shop, restrooms, and snacks.  

The ranch was once owned by the Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC) and has a rich history. One of the museums you can visit is about the CCC and is located in an adobe building that was constructed by the CCC.

In addition to the numerous hiking trails surrounding the ranch, this area provides access to the Arizona National Scenic Trail. 

The ranch is located in the foothills of the Rincon Mountains surrounded by beautiful scenery with plenty of picnic tables and shaded spots to relax and enjoy the day.
