The Rincon Mountain Overlook is a scenic stop along Cactus Forest Drive in Saguaro National Park’s Rincon Mountain District which is east of Tucson, Arizona. The overlook is located about five miles from the start of the 8-mile-long Cactus Forest Drive.

The eastern portion of the Rincon Mountains can be viewed from this overlook. This highest peak in the Rincon Mountains is Mica Mountain with an elevation of 8,664 feet. These mountains got their name because the peaks of Rincon Mountains form an L shape or corner. Rincon means corner in Spanish.

The overlook has four parking spots, one which is a handicap accessible spot. There are two informational signs at this overlook. One sign discusses the various life zones from the desert to the mountain peaks. The other sign provides background on the role of lightning and fires to the ecosystem.

Since the Rincon Mountain Overlook is located within Saguaro National Park a fee is required to enter the park. The park is open year-round.
