The Vishnu Loop Trail is a 1.1 mile loop trail is located near the Grandview Lookout Tower, southeast of Tusayan, AZ. This loop trail offers scenic views of the Grand Canyon and is accessible for hikers, trail runners, equestrians, and mountain bikes. 

Along this easy, short loop trail visitors will hike out to the Coconino Plateau for incredible views of the Grand Canyon and traverse along the Arizona National Scenic Trail, an 800 mile national scenic trail that extends from the Mexico-U.S. border all the way north to Utah! 

This loop is family friendly and features interpretative signs that provide information about  the plants and animals within Kaibab National Forest. The interpretative sign is a great educational opportunity for people of all ages to learn about the surrounding area!

There are many nearby trails (including the Arizona National Scenic Trail) that provide opportunities for anyone interested in a longer adventure. The nearby Grandview Lookout Tower is a popular destination and a historical landmark. Visitors are allowed to climb the 80-ft steel tower which offers unparalleled views of the Grand Canyon and all the way south to the San Francisco Peaks.

Dispersed camping is available in the surrounding area and bathrooms with vault toilets are located near the trail. Visitors must come prepared with their own water.
