The Bird Trail is a 1.4-mile hiking loop near the Visitor Center of Mayflower Bocawina National Park. Beginning across the street from the visitor center, the trail cuts through the right side of the Mayflower Mayan Ruins while maintaining a generally flat course through the jungle environment. About a half-mile in, a right fork leaves the Bird Trail and climbs 0.25 mile to the Tau Witz Mayan Ruins, while the left fork continues the loop path.

Along the way, several interpretive signs describe park flora, thatch palms stretch their enormous leaves across the path, and black howler monkies may be able to be seen in the canopy above. The trail ultimately loops around before reemerging at the Mayflower Ruins. The only amenities are located at the park visitor center.
