While those accustomed to the commercial and numerous campgrounds in North America may be hard pressed to find inviting camping areas in Belize, Mayflower Bocawina National Park is one area that does have a designated campground. Though mostly undeveloped and limited to tent campers, the campground is located across a clearing just behind the park visitor center.

Campers can use amenities located around the visitor center such as toilets and water during open hours. Aside from flat ground beneath shade and several chairs, tables and benches, there is not much else to the campground. Backcountry camping is also permitted in many areas of the park. Contact Mayflower Bocawina Natinoal Park for camping fees and additional information.
